We are currently seeking a highly motivated engineer to join our talented team in the fast growing technology of Wireless Power Charging. In this role you will drive the design and development of multi-standard Power Transmit Units and Power Receive Units for a diverse market of applications including smartphones, wearables, and IOT. Responsibilities include the design, optimization, and testing of the Wireless Power Charging systems from ASIC concept to customer production.


Candidates should be able to:






  • Define ASIC specifications


  • Simulate system performance


  • Design amplifiers for power transmitters


  • Impedance match coils for maximum power transfer


  • Interface with customers and support issues


  • Drive multi-standard certifications

 






This includes:






  • Electromagnetics simulation, design, test – coil modelling using FEM tools (HFSS or similar), Network analyzer measurements, Magnetically Coupled circuit theory


  • HF/RF Power Amplifier design and testing – SPICE modeling, Board design, Class-D/E topology, FET driver design


  • Definition of requirements for new products – write technical requirement documents, technical proposals


  • Power conversion circuits experience – AC/DC conversion, Switching and Linear supply, Li-Ion Battery Charging


  • Hands-on experience with Analog, RF, Wireless systems – design, test, debug, EMC certification, impedance matching, Bluetooth and WLAN knowledge a strong plus


  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal

 






Job Requirements






  • BSEE + 12 years or MSEE + 9 years of handheld hardware development experience or equivalent


  • Define ASIC specifications
