EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST WorkReady Texas is currently looking for an EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST to work with individuals with mild to moderate disabilities in the SOUTH AUSTIN/SAN MARCOS areas. Our consumers are referred to us by the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services and are needing assistance with securing and maintaining long-term, meaningful employment. The position has a base salary of $15,200 ($20,000 plus incentives first 90 days until credentialed) per year plus incentives . The average income for an Employment Specialist’s is $43,000 annually. A top performing ES will earn $46,000-$54,000 per year. Applicants must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and be able to work from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday although job requires flexibility with evenings and weekends at times. Individuals with home office and successful performance based experience will be given preference. Marketing experience a plus. Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree in a Human Services field (Rehabilitation, Education, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminal justice act.), and one year of documented professional experience providing services to disabled individuals. OR Three years of documented professional experience providing services to individuals with disabilities, those at risk or with a mental health diagnosis.
