Job Description:
C model and firmware engineer is required to work with integrated circuit designers to design and implement C model or firmware for hardware design verification or firmware implementation for cable & satellite set-top box or other systems-on-chip IP.
The team works on C models for design reference and verification, firmware development, and simulation test bench tool development. The successful candidate will work in C-model coding and debugging, firmware development, simulation tool development in the multiple-site/multiple-team development environment.
Job Requirements:
• Minimum MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Experienced with embedded software and firmware development.
• Thorough understanding in digital image processing theory, image and video compression, motion estimation and compensation, and digital signal processing.
• Knowledge of relevant image and video codec standards such as MPEG, AVC, and HEVC.
• Proficiency in C, C++, C++ Standard Template Library, Perl programming.
• Experience in software development process.
• Strong problem-solving and design skills.
