Job responsibilities






• Evaluate leading-edge embedded Flash technology integrated in advanced CMOS technologies; define technology requirements and specifications






• Work with external foundry partners to drive technology development and qualification efforts to meet BRCM specifications and schedules






• Work with internal organizations and foundry partners to develop, test, characterize, and qualify customized embedded Flash macro, SRAM and IP’s. Develop and implement appropriate test structures to verify manufacturability and for process monitoring.






• Work with internal organizations and foundry partners for product introduction, verification, characterization and qualification. Drive initial yield bring-up and device/process window optimization to ensure production ramp readiness.






• Support manufacturing team as needed with yield enhancement and continuous improvement activities.






 






Job requirements






• Tyically requires a PhD in EE or related engineering field with minimum of 9 years of experience or equivalent






• Experiences in embedded-Flash process development and/or new product introduction, characterization, qualification, and yield improvement is highly preferred.






• Expertise in device physics and advanced CMOS process technology integration and development






• Familiarity with embedded SRAM process and knowledge of memory design and its interaction with key process parameters






• Effective communicator is a must






• Good business sense to prioritize various projects in accomplishing key company goals






• Strong in data analysis, design rule implementation, DOE and matrix/split lot design






• Prior experience in troubleshooting IC product issues






• 5% travel, domestic and international
