Staff Assistant job - American Airlines - Charlotte, NC





POSITION PURPOSE:


Assist department with various warehouse and distribution functions to support the airport operation.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support front line employees with regular equipment check-in/out procedures

  • Utilize Excel based inventory system to maintain required on-hand equipment and supply stock

  • Maintain high-level of customer service for internal customers

  • Completes adhoc administrative and distribution projects, as assigned

  • Assist with supply and equipment ordering for the operation

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • At least 2 years work experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software

  • Strong organization skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under minimal supervision

  • Ability to work a varied schedule and adjust schedule as needed by the department

  • Ability and willingness to operate vehicle, forklift and other light equipment when required
