We have an opportunity for a detail oriented, software proficient, customer focused individual to help us keep our office running at full capacity.
A successful candidate will assist in multiple areas including:
- Maintaining confidential HR department records by updating employee files regularly, and promptly;
- Arranging and tracking applicant interviews, reviewing applications, and performing onboarding activities;
- Composing HR related correspondence, updating job descriptions and keeping job manuals current;
- Responding to employment verifications;
- Greeting and assisting visitors to the company;
- Learning the industry in order to assist customers with all phases of the moving process: from initial inquiry to scheduling;
- Preparing and delivering written confirmations of scheduled services;
- Making customer calls to verify scheduled services;
- Providing general administrative support within the office.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of office experience with above average work references;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality;
- Outstanding customer service skills with internal and external customers;
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Excel and Word, multiple databases and strong working knowledge of social media tools;
- Close attention to detail, results must be accurate, thorough and organized;
- Positive, energetic approach to managing relationships with a diverse group of people.
- Working knowledge of HR laws and processes.
$12- to $14- hour; based on experience. We will respond to qualified applicants of interest.
