JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, and working with a skilled staff and volunteer team, successful completion of a comprehensive campaign to raise philanthropic support for NMC. The contract for this position is estimated to run March 2016 through 2021. This position is responsible for communication and coordination of campaign-related activities throughout the organization and will be the primary liaison with campaign consultants. These activities include staffing of all campaign committees, including the Campaign Steering Committee, preparation of strategic documents and donor proposals, and management of the solicitation portfolio.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES and LICENSES
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
Between 5 and 10 years
Demonstrate a belief in philanthropy and a commitment to community.
Demonstrate energy, flexibility, a sense of humor and a desire to help team efforts succeed.
Experience in non-profit administration or project management.
Experience in working with and motivating high level volunteers.
High level of computer literacy including effective use of a robust donor database.
Strong capacity and willingness to use sound judgement for independent decision making.
Strong development skills and first-hand knowledge of fundraising campaign operations.
Preferred:
Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills
Experience in Campaign Management

WORK HOURS :
This is a full-time, 40+ hour per week position. The contract for this position is estimated to run March 2016 through 2021.
