Responsible for the supervision and leadership of all park staff at Big Bone Lick State Historic Site. Responsible for the daily operations, care and maintenance of the park. Responsible for and conducts operation, care, maintenance and security of all park facilities, lands & features within guidelines efficiently & cost effectively. Responsible for enforcing & communicating policies, regulations, procedures and programs to staff. Maintains public relations, communications in park use & awareness.

Selection Method :
Qualifying: All candidates who apply and meet the minimum requirements are eligible for placement on the register for hiring consideration.

Characteristics of the Class :
Manages the operation of a medium recreational state park; and performs other duties as required. (NOTE: Applies to Ben Hawes, Big Bone Lick, Columbus-Belmont, General Burnside, Grayson Lake, Green River, Kincaid Lake, Lincoln Homestead, Mineral Mound, Old Fort Harrod, and Yatesville Lake state parks.)

Typical Working Conditions and Unique Physical Requirements :
Work typically consists of office duties in a state park setting.

Additional Requirements :
Applicants and employees in this classification may be required to submit to a drug screening test and background check.
