Based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire our client is seeking an Accounts Administrator to join their successful team on a permanent basis.
This job would suit a finance graduate or office administrator who’s looking to gain experience within accounts and develop their career long term within a well- established, growing business.
The successful candidate will have excellent Excel skills and impeccable attention to detail. Prior accounts experience isn’t essential, however you will need to be willing to learn and have the ability to complete given tasks effectively.
Job responsibilities:
- Submitting documents to companies house and HMR&C
- Updating and maintaining in-house databases and records
- Review of bookkeeping records and the completion of VAT returns
- Ensuring service guarantees are met, liaising with clients via phone, email, and post
- Reviewing paperwork and taking appropriate action where necessary e.g. letter writing
- Generating payroll records and providing salary advice to clients
- Completion and submission of forms P11d offer assistance to colleagues
- Generating forms at the end of each tax year and managing your own workload
