Our client is seeking an auditor to join their friendly team in Berkhamsted. With your own portfolio of clients from a variety of print media industry sectors, you will be responsible for planning and completing an allocation of audits within agreed timescales and to industry standards. Working alone or within a small audit team, the role is client facing, requiring good communication skills and the ability to manage priorities.


You will be responsible for


  • Planning and organising your own allocated audits requiring extensive client contact by phone, email and face to face.

  • Visiting client premises to undertake audits to agreed quality and time standards (benchmark 1,500 chargeable hours pa) either individually or as part of a team.

  • Providing excellent customer service consistent with our values.

  • Ensuring that requests from publisher members are dealt with promptly and effectively.

  • There will also be an opportunity to assist with various ad-hoc projects

Applicants should be able to demonstrate some auditing experience and ideally in substantive and compliance based testing with exposure to risk based auditing techniques an advantage. Knowledge of the media industry would also be highly beneficial but is not essential. As well as possessing excellent interpersonal skills you will need to have a strong analytical and problem solving mindset. As a self-starter, you will be organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail.


A clean driving license is essential along with being comfortable with air travel.
