Manpower are currently recruiting for an experienced demand planner for our client based in High Wycombe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a well-established growing business.

The successful candidate will report directly into the Business Director and the role sits between both Supply Chain and Sales.


The Basic Function of role is as follows:


The incumbent has responsibility for the Sales Planning and Analysis for UK, Ireland, Germany and Switzerland.
You will also be responsible for the developing and managing sales forecasts (volume / revenue), identifying market trends and Demand Planning
You will also will serve as a liaison between the sales organisation, Marketing, Supply Chain & Finance Departments.
This position reports to Head of Sales UK & Ireland.


*Owner of the Demand quantities by customer and month as part of the S&OP process
*On a monthly basis as per the S&OP calendar develops and progresses the latest forecast by country by customer by SKU for coming 15 months in conjunction with sales managers recommends changes and amendment where appropriate.
*Monitors correction and amendment of Blue planner System, and uploads to BW Portal
*Process the upload into the company Portal for Ireland, Germany and Switzerland
*Prepares & animates the Demand Review / Forecast collaboration meetings by country.
*Reports achievements compared to previous month forecast and promotional activity.
*Analyses & explains variations for the middle & long term demand (forecast accuracy, deviation)
*Follow up on BP & BW needs with IT when needed.
*Able to propose improvement to the current process
Management of promotional activities
*Follow-up on promotional activity plans with customers, NAM’s, Marketing & Supply Chain.
*Analysis of ROI and promotional effectiveness by accounts
*Analysis of the demand and trends within countries, channels and accounts
*Secures meetings with major UK accounts supply teams to build greater co-operation and coordination in joint business planning.
Sales planning:
*Participates in the construction of the annual budget exercise
*Makes proposal to gain in efficiency: better use of the tools – leverage process


Education/Learning Experience:


Required: Mathematics and statically educated, A Level standard


Desired: Demand management qualification, Degree


Work Experience:


Required: Account management, Supply chain understanding, customer services

Skills/Knowledge/Required:
*Process & tool management
*Analytical capabilities relative to understanding and delivering solutions to business issues.
*Ability to work effectively in a diverse team; guiding and support team members.
*Exceptional communication and presentation skills
*Customer knowledge (national accounts, regional warehouse) is imperative
*Expertise and competencies w/ technical aspects of Microsoft EXCEL (including pivot tables) POWERPOINT & WORD.
*Sales forecasting techniques
*Interest in BW and BP tool
*Basic understanding of Neilsen and or IRI infoscan systems and use.
*Ability to build overall performance measures and essential performance indicators
