Summary

HR Team Leader- Watford


Principal Accountabilities
*To lead and manage a team of support staff based within the project or department ensuring the provision of a confidential, responsive, high quality and customer focused support service that facilitates achievement of team and functional goals. To ensure that workflow is managed and discharged in line with agreed processes. Also to engage and facilitate wider networks of support staff,
*To work closely with the Management team / manager to support the preparation of briefing papers, reports, communications and presentations (undertaking research where necessary), which contribute to the wider management aims and objectives of complex teams and Departments.
*To ensure a flexible, efficient and responsive support service from the team, including co-ordination of minutes and meetings, photocopying and filing, letters, reports and data input and collation by use of IT systems including email and internet.
*To take responsibility for the development, review, maintenance and implementation of clear operating frameworks, systems and protocols including the monitoring and recording of Health & Safety information, complex financial and funding data, performance indicators, HR records and petty cash.
*To ensure the timely and accurate processing, collating monitoring and interpreting of financial, statistical and budgetary information.
*To ensure that information collection, storage and retrieval takes place in accordance with legislative requirements, organisational procedures and good practice.
*Ensure income and expenditure is properly accounted for and reported on as part of our monitoring procedure and to participate in the monitoring, evaluation and interpretation of budgets and financial reports.
*To support the line manager to prepare the Departmental Annual Review and Business Plan documents as part of the team planning process.
*To oversee general support tasks, including video-conferencing, travel and accommodation arrangements, prioritising correspondence and information distribution; telephone enquiries; filing and photocopying and stock management.
*To maintain and where necessary review and implement changes to communication systems/processes. To ensure efficient distribution of news updates, intranet and internet communications and contributing to magazines and newsletters, where appropriate.
*This post is subject to an enhanced criminal record disclosure check. This will be applied for through the relevant disclosure body depending on the geographic location of role.

Profile


HR Team Leader- Watford
Requirements:
*Previous management, supervisory experience
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
*Experience working in HR with an understanding of admin tasks associated with TUPE transfers, redundancy, Ofsted regulatory requirements with HR staff files etc.
*Good attention to detail
*Excellent organisation skills with process mapping and system engineering skills
*Ability to time manage
