Job Duties:
Installation position applied for requires ability to troubleshoot furnace/air handler/heat pump/a/c condensing units inability to perform properly on startup from being installed.
Required to hand truck/ furnace/air handler/condensing unit into place, level same and hook up refrigerant copper lines, electrical, gas fuel line and drain line.
Must be able to start and test system installed prior to completion (knowledge of sub cool/ super heat. Heat rise)
Must be able to use torch to braze copper, use a tape measure, cut sheet metal and hook up equipment to air duct system.
Regular hours 7: 15 am at our shop until 4: 00 pm mon to fri.Beyond these hoursphysically worked equals overtime (time and one half). 45 min lunch.
Must be on time, provide overtime during rush seasons, work as a team, take direction from management and be courteous to coworkers and customers.
Travel to our shop and leave in our vehicle with install crew.
End of day unload old equipment at our shop removed from that days job.
Load up for next days job.
Major tech company tools provided for installs.
Job Requirement
Looking for qualified forced hot air/ central a/cinstaller/ experienced apprentice. leadership qualities preferred. Full time year round employment top pay. $14 to $25 per hour and up.
Hired applicant will be working with install crew.
Must have valid drivers license
refrigerant certification preffered
Basic hand tools are required including:
Battery drill
Refrigerant test gauges
Electrical clamp on test meter
Good quality clamp on thermometer for superheat/ sub cool readings for proper charging
