Processing Assistant III job - State of North Carolina - Robeson County, NC

This position is located at Lumberton Correctional Institution. This position will have contact with the general public to include receiving/providing information and problem solving; filing, composition, ability to use automated office systems to establish, retrieve, verify, research, update and/or authorize processing actions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies:


General knowledge of office or work unit procedures, methods and practices, general knowledge of grammar and the ability to use correct spelling and punctuation. Ability to proof read, use a variety of office equipment, work with people with courtesy and tact, record and compile information based on general guidelines.


Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:


Graduation from high school and demonstrated possession of knowledge, skills, and abilities gained through at least one year of office assistant/secretarial experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. . . .
