We have recently completed an EMEAR wide alignment of our SAP System and how it is used across the business. As a result an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced SAP Consultant, reporting into the Senior SAP ADSS Manager whose key focus is to manage the design, development and maintenance of complex business transaction processes across our EMEAR logistics /procurement function.
This role is based out of our offices at Westside, Hemel Hempstead, Herts working within cohesive team providing support across EMEAR between the hours of 8am – 6pm daily.
Key tasks:
- Consult, with functional area, in the business process design of business processes. The objective is to support EMEA processes, utilising standard SAP best practice as much as possible
- Design, develop and maintain complex business processes with minimal direction from configuration owners in the SAP landscape
- Perform prototyping of new functionality
- Develop detailed and complete functional specifications within the SAP landscape.
- Assist business in execution of tests. Perform unit testing of complex configuration. Work with multiple teams to define and perform business tests
- Perform risk analysis and mitigation
- Resolve complex problems, business issues and recommend useful configuration.
- Perform evaluations of new SAP functionality and upgrades to existing functionality within their area of responsibility
- Review design and configuration work of other internal and external consultants to identify and resolve integration issues with related functionality.
- Ensure Epson IT standards are adhered to
Key Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable, consistent experience working as a SAP consultant relating to project implementations
- Proven experience of rolling out projects internationally
- An understanding of how complex matrix organisations operation; international experience an advantage
- Proven project management skills with experience of being the lead in a project team
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate that efficiently across the group
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal along with stakeholder management
- Analytical and results focused
- Experience of both reacting to and of solving problems
