Job Title Senior Aem Infrastructure Engineer Location Atlanta, Georgia Duration of Hiring 6 months (Possibility of extension) Summary of position Create designs for new and existing Adobe AEM infrastructure on RHEL and VM Ware platforms to include creation of proof-of-concept prototypes through to carrier-class production solution designs.


Technological scope of work includes AEM author, publish dispatch servers, JVM configuration tuning, and Adobe AEM multisite add-on.


Position responsibilities Design and engineer AEM infrastructure in support of in-house and third-party web applications including software framework and hardware components.


Provide continuing engineering for existing and future AEM releases and add-on services to meet product requirements from marketing new product development.


Provide technical support and function as escalation point for the operations team.


Manage the lab environments for applications currently being developed or updated.


Interface with other design groups for networking, database and storage aspects of web application design.


Provide thorough engineering documentation for all web services products, current and future.


Lead in evaluating new services, products, and solutions that integrate with AEM at the infrastructure level.


Mentor web infrastructure engineers and web administrators in understanding the AEM platform.


Qualifications Experience administeringsupportingengineering AEMCQ5 technology platforms.


Experience must include designing an AEM environment that leverages author, publish and dispatch instances for high volume (1+ million page requests per day) sites.


(3+ years) Strong understanding of the AEM Authoring platformrsquos role based permissions and have experience securing an AEM Authoring platform.


Has implemented the Adobe AEM multisite manager add-on.


Strong skills working with apache and J2EE application servers in large scale, multi-tier environments.


Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.


Prior experience in engineering or operations in enterprise or datacenter environments.


Prior experience performing load test results analysis and tuning AEMCQ5 based on findings.


Proven ability to acquire new technical skills quickly.


Good working knowledge of firewalls, proxy servers and load balancers.


Should also have a solid understanding of TCPIP networking and protocols.


Familiarity with OS and web application security standards and techniques.


Thorough working knowledge of J2EE, XML and Web 2.0 technologies.


Prior experience implementing AEM or CQ5 in VM Ware containers a plus.


Prior experience with JSP, XHTML, CSS and Perl a plus.


CA Site minder experience is a plus.
