Touchstone’s Family-Centered Autism Program (FCAP) serves families with children on the Autism Spectrum. The program is located at our main office, located at 15648 N. 35th Ave. In addition, services can be provided in the home and the community.


FCAP is able to diagnose, provide family support, and facilitate individual and family therapy, social skills therapy and parenting skills training. The program also implements Applied Behavioral Analysis interventions, as well as connects the family to resources within their community. FCAP provides Au-Some Sibs, a sibling support group, as well as ABA training for community members and parents. We also provide Playground Partners, a playground group located at a few local schools that provides social skills in the child’s natural setting. Touchstone is dedicated to helping families become successful and works diligently to assist families in receiving the resources needed to meet their needs.


JOB SPECIFIC DUTIES

1. Provides outpatient individual, group, and family therapy for Touchstone consumers utilizing Best Practice.


2. Facilitates and participates in Child and Family Teams (CFT) according to the AZ Practice Model.


3. Conducts Intakes as needed and assigned.


4. Completes discharges in a timely and efficient manner.


5. Completes all required clinical documentation & reports and develops & updates consumer documentation.


6. Responds to Crisis in a timely manner according to determined procedure.


7. Acts as liaison between Touchstone and collaborative agencies.


8. Maintains case load of at least 50 clients.


9. Bills average of at least 100 units (25 hours) per week.


10. Bills minimum of 100 out-of-office units per month.


11. Bills a minimum of 100 family therapy units per month.


12. Bills 50% of all encounters as therapy or CFT’s.


*Performs all other duties as assigned


JOB QUALIFICATIONS


EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/EXPERIENCE:


Must be at least 21 years of age. Requires a Master’s Degree in a behavioral health related field . Autism experience and training in autism spectrum disorders is preferred.


SPECIAL EQUIPMENT/SKILLS:


Fluency in the Spanish language strongly preferred. Intermediate computer skills. Working knowledge of MS Office products or similar software, internet, and email.


POPULATION SERVED:


Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the consumers served in the department.

JOB SPECIFIC EXPECTATIONS


PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE


Must be actively seeking licensure.


Must complete all Agency prerequisites for conducting assessments within 6 months of hire.


Must maintain current CPR/First Aid and CPI Certification.


Must maintain current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.


Must maintain a valid Arizona driver’s license and current personal auto liability insurance.


WORK ENVIRONMENT, SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND HAZARDS:


Must be available to provide services 8-5, Monday through Friday.
