Our client is a membership-based charity, managing over 80 nature reserves, influencing land management across 3 counties and actively working to educate and encourage all sectors of the community to care for local wildlife.


This Visitor Centre near Tring is a key attraction for our client, attracting over 80,000 visitors annually.


Visitor Services Assistant
Salary: £20,172 per annum
Contract: Permanent – 35 hours per week
Based at College Lake, near Tring


The Visitor Services Assistant will be required to support the Visitor Centre Manager and Reserve Warden, providing cover as both Duty Manager and Duty Warden. This post will also take specific responsibility for the upkeep of the site in the vicinity of the Visitor Centre, including the car park and other facilities. The post-holder will be required to operate tills, support volunteers in the café and shop and help keep the facility in a clean and tidy state.


This post will require a significant level of weekend working. Applicants should ideally have experience at a similar visitor facility.
