Reports to: Associate Director of Education & Training
Job Classification: Part Time
Summary Description: Assists in the distribution of condoms and promotion of Free Condoms Memphis (FCM) program. Assists other HIV prevention and comprehensive sexual health education programs as needed.
Principle Responsibilities:
1. Deliver condoms to FCM distribution sites and partners.
2. Help promote PPGMR services and programs in the community and recruit new FCM sites as directed.
3. Assist with HIV prevention and comprehensive sexuality education programming as needed.
4. Perform other duties as directed.
Job Qualifications:
Education: HIV prevention, education, and testing training
Experience: 1-2 years of community education or related experience
Skills: Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with youth, parents, community leaders, and staff; facilitation and organization skills.
Special Requirements: Committed to Planned Parenthood’s goals and ideals; knowledge of family planning and sexual health, HIV/AIDS; accepts a flexible work schedule that includes regular night hours; must have an automobile with current driver’s license and insurance; physically able to lift and carry 25 lbs.
