EDUCATION:
· High school diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE (must include all of the following):
· Three (3) years customer service experience involving heavy phone contact and data entry.
OTHER REQUIREMENT(S):
· Availability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITY(IES):
· Effective communication and listening skills.
· MS Office or similar software skills.
· Ability to interpret policies, and follow established procedures/guidelines.
· Ability to use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet job demands.
PREFERENCE(S):
· English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
Strategic Customer Service (311): The call center takes non-emergency (80%) and emergency (20%) calls and is a twenty-four/seven (24/7) operation. The ideal candidate is an experienced customer service representative who has excellent communication and customer service skills (call center experience would be an advantage).
