Virtual Human Resource Manager job - Davidson Tutoring - Remote


A well-established private tutoring company is seeking to a hire a virtual HR Manager. This role will act as an individual contributor and will be afforded a short term/seasonal open-ended contract opportunity. Location: Anywhere in the US Company Headquarters: Los Angeles
Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Mon – Fri Anytime between 7am – 7pm (PST)
Hours: Part Time, up to 15 hours per week max
Compensation: $12-$18/hourly depending on experience.
Reports to: Director


Primary Duties:


  • Interfaces with the Hiring Manager weekly and other key stakeholders as needed to ensure client satisfaction

  • Manage & maintain accountability for the entire recruiting, hiring & virtual training process as defined by the company.

  • Recruiting Responsibilities:

o Lead initial consultations with Hiring Manager on job requisition development to support staffing needs.
o Develops and maintains a high volume of referrals and a strong candidate pipeline
o Conducts external searches through strategic sourcing (networking, cold-calling, online job board utilization, etc.)
o Develops and maintains extensive and effective networks within professional associations and within the Los Angeles community to ensure a continuous flow of candidates.


o Manages the New Hire Process flow as defined by The company
o Leads candidate through the hiring process to ensure a positive experience.
o Ensures compliance with legal and client regulations during identification and screening process


  • Management New-Hire Virtual Training Platform

o Manages the Virtual Training Process flow as defined by The company
o Builds out Learning Management System for Online Training Platform ( Adobe LMS)
Minimum Education required:


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or similar with comparable work experience

Minimum years of experience required:


  • 1 + years’ experience working remotely.

  • 1+ years’ experience in Human Resources and/or working as a Virtual Recruiter or Hiring Manager.

  • 3 + years’ experience managing administrative tasks in a fast pace professional work environment.

SKILLS REQUIRED


Technical:


  • Ability to maintain a high volume of email & phone correspondences

  • Must have experience recruiting for multiple positions in a variety of disciplines.

  • Knowledgeable of applicable employment laws

  • Accurately captures relevant data and reports key staffing metrics in a timely manner

  • Must be proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet (Gmail, Google Hang-outs, Adobe, Skype)

  • Familiarity with utilize Team Viewer, High-rise, QuickBooks, Ebillity

Professional:


  • Must be a self-starter, who requires little supervision to maintain productive work flow

  • Must be a fast learner and able to demonstrate new skill proficiency quickly

  • Must possess exceptional organizational, time management, administrative and customer service skills.

  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to meet aggressive deadlines and adapt to constant changes and competing priorities

  • Must have a strong commitment to achieving staffing goals as defined by the company

  • Must demonstrate emotional intelligence, professional ethics and maintain high level of confidentiality.

  • Must demonstrate skills needed to best represents the company brand to potential applicants and professional networks (i.e. engaging personality, responsiveness & professionalism)

  • Must demonstrate a commitment to rapport building with applicants & internal team members.
