The Treatment and Recovery Clinic (TARC) strives to provide a holistic approach to family healing and the development of associated competencies through the use of Intensive Outpatient Services, Recovery Support Services, behavior specific groups, and wrap around services to adults and adolescents in their community.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Performs routine clerical and secretarial functions; draft correspondence; scheduling appointments for all program staff;
- Establishes, organizes and maintains paper and electronic files;
- Provides quality assurance on all files;
- Assist and prepare materials needed for groups, files, intakes, and assessments;
- Assist Counselors and Case Managers with daily requirements;
- Responsible to complete intakes on new clients; answer phones, faxes documents and performs receptionist duties, when needed;
- Responsible for collection and distribution of mail;
- Assists in ordering supplies;
- Answer inquiries and obtain information for general public, clients, visitors, and other interested parties;
- Data entry and processing; compiles data for program reports; bill, collect and receipt fees;
- Has frequent contact with public, governmental agencies, and community agencies;
- Extensive knowledge of department programs and objectives;
- Format/type a variety of documents; performs needed backup duties for the Administrative Assistant and Office Administrator;
- May require heavy lifting and moving; and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with a minimum of 1 year secretarial experience.
- Must have knowledge and experience with office support functions; word processing; filing; composing a variety of business documents; reception; working with the public;
- Minimum typing skills of 35 wpm.
- Must be able to work independently; have organizational skills; professional written, communication, and computer skills;
- Fingering, grasping, manual dexterity to perform office functions and the ability to talk and hear in person and on the telephone;
- Sitting with intermittent moving within the office environment and repetitive motion of 50% a day.
- Ability to perform essential duties efficiently and accurately with or without reasonable accommodations without endangering incumbent or other employees.
- Successfully complete and maintain criminal background investigation;
- Maintain CPR/ First Aid Certification;
- Possess and mmaintain a valid Idaho drivers license;
- Ability to lift (20 lbs), bend, stoop, kneel, reach; and the ability to handle stressful situations.
