Are you able to work a flexible schedule between the hours of 8:00am-8:00pm EST?
- The Contact Center is open from 8 m. to 8 p.m. Eastern time Monday through Friday.
- You will need to be available to work any shift between 8 m. to 8 p.m. (Max. 40hrs/week) Shift start times are based on individual performance and business needs.
- Newly hired representatives typically receive the 11:30 m. to 8 p.m. schedule until a full quarter of performance metrics are available for the quarterly ranking process.
What kind of training can new Customer Service Specialists expect?
- Unum and Colonial Life will give you the tools and training you need to provide excellent service to our customers.
- The length of training varies depending on the role you will perform.
- The trainer will establish the start and end times for each class, but classes are typically during the day between 8 m. and 5:30 p.m.
- The initial training includes a combination of classroom and/or computer-based training (CBT) and peer mentoring.
- Once you complete formal training, you begin working with the full support of mentors and management as you apply your new knowledge.
What is the career path within or outside the Contact Center?
- After 18 months of successful performance in the Contact Center, there are opportunities to move into other roles either within the Contact Center or throughout the company.
- Working in the Contact Center provides a strong customer service foundation and a broad understanding of the company.
