Duties
Serves as point of contact for and performs administrative duties in support of: the onboarding of adjunct faculty, student workers and casual employees; criminal and child abuse background clearances; and other recruitment duties.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.
Job Specific Task List
Onboarding:
- Serves as point of contact for and performs administrative duties in support of the onboarding of adjunct faculty, student workers and casual employees.
- Send onboarding notice and onboarding checklists to new hire, hiring manager, Office of Information Services and Technology, et. al.
- Processes EPAFs for adjunct faculty, student workers and casual employees
- Ensures new hires complete all appropriate employment documentation, e.g. I-9, policy acknowledgments, etc. and provides appropriate paperwork to Payroll.
- Creates a digital personnel file.
- Ensures that the hiring manager completes the supervisor’s onboarding checklist and submits it to the Office of Human Resources within 30 days.
Background Clearances:
- Assists in the submission of background clearances for current employees or candidates through scheduled workshops or walk-in appointments.
- Serves as an FBI fingerprinting service for candidates.
- Enters background clearance dates into Banner and maintains files of background clearance results.
- Generates routine reports to track when background clearances are due.
- Alerts appropriate staff, e.g. chief HR officer, director of HR recruitment and director of employee relations, when background clearance results show a criminal violation, founded report of child abuse, or allegation of child abuse.
Recruitment:
- Assists HR recruiters with the scheduling of interviews, including locations, travel arrangements and escorts.
- Assists HR recruiters at job fairs and other recruitment events; provides general information about the job application and hiring process to interested individuals.
- Performs data clean-up activities within the College’s applicant tracking software.
- Responds to inquiries from internal customers, the general public, etc. submitted to resource accounts.
- Maintains recruitment files in accordance with the College’s records retention program.
Performs other duties as assigned.
