Coles County 9-1-1 is a 9-1-1 Communications center for Coles-Moultrie-Shelby Counties. All employees are call takers and dispatchers for all calls emergency and non-emergency for Police, Fire and EMS for Coles County and 9-1-1 calls for Moultrie County. Must be available to work all three shifts and any mandatory overtime. All employees begin training as a part time employee at $11.00 an hour for the 1st 90 days of employment (you’re training period). When training is completed a Full time position will be offered to you. Further benefits and job requirements will be discussed in the orientation.

Minimum Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License
US citizenship
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School diploma/GED
No Felony convictions
Must reside within 30 miles of the Coles County limits
All orientation/testing will be administered on Monday September 21, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
