Responsible driver needed in North Palm Beach Florida on Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30-5pm. Driver needed to drive a young 30 year old female quadriplegic to and from physical therapy. Must have a clean driving record and obey the rules of the road. Handicapped van provided for transport.
You will also need to prepare a meal for the client (something simple before she attends evening college class with another helper). Minimal direct care will be required and the client can educate as long as willing to learn. Must be open to learning and easily take direction.
Qualifications:
Clean driving record ( background check will be performed)
Willing to participate and assist in physical therapy if needed.
Must be physically able to perform job duties and be extremely reliable.
Kind and compassionate a must. Open and flexible to learning and in taking direction.
Position would be great for a college student interested in the therapy field .
HHA or CNA experience helpful but not needed
CPR certified helpful but not needed.
Must like dogs.
