Employee shall at all times be able and willing to perform the following duties:

Make sure all patients are greeted promptly and cheerfully and their needs taken care of in an efficient professional manner
*
Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls as needed or take clear concise written messages.
*
Schedule patient appointments
*
Maintain front desk work space in a neat manner
*
Call and remind patients of their appointments as requested
*
Reschedule patient appointments as needed
*
Send out patient no-show cards
*
Ensure that front desk is stocked with necessary forms and brochures and inform Patient Service Coordinator if the supply is low.
SPECIFIC DUTIES :

Employee shall be willing to perform any of the following duties as assigned by Patient Services Coordinator or Doctors, as training permits:
Patient Check-In :
*
Copy insurance and identification cards
*
Have new patients complete patient information forms
*
Update and correct any changes in patient’s information
Patient Check-Out :
*
Make follow up appointments
*
Collect fees/co-payments (operate credit card machine)
*
Ensure that encounter form has ICD-9 and CPT codes completed
*
Enter daily charges on inpatients and post checks
*
Note : Employee must also be willing to assist their front desk co-workers on a moment to moment basis in the areas of patient check-in and patient check-out and if their own particular duties are at a slow pace and there is a need for assistance.

Perform any other duties as assigned by Patient Services Coordinator or Doctors, as training permits
