Our group is responsible for designing custom processor cores for Broadcom’s Broadband Connectivity Group. You will get to work on a next generation ARM processor core next to a highly skilled technical team with a proven track record of producing high frequency CPU cores.
As an intern, you will learn and contribute in the area of CPU and L2 Cache Design Verification. You will participate in various verification tasks at the unit level, multi-cluster level, or core level such as assertions, coverage closure, assembly test programming, and scripting.
Requirements
– Bachelors or Masters or PhD majoring in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
– Course work in Computer Architecture and exposure to any CPU instruction set
– Good programming skills in any one of the following: SystemVerilog, SVA, C, or C++
– Some scripting skills in Perl
