CSC’s Center of Excellence Contact Center is hiring Customer Service Representatives (CSR) for full-time opportunities for our large state-of-the art call center facility in Bossier City. Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. Government issued Public Trust clearance. U.S. Citizenship is required for the position due to clearance requirements. : p >

The position will be supporting a large federal government program and immediate CSRs are needed on a full-time basis to answer high volume in-bound calls. The CSR will be providing support for an informational hotline that receives calls from the general public. Our CSRs answer and triage caller question to provide information related to Federal Government programs. : p >

The qualified candidate will be handling incoming customer service phone calls professionally, providing “world class” customer service along with accurate and appropriate information to every caller. Must have excellent attendance and be able to control customer call time. : p >

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. : p >

Answer incoming phone calls on behalf of client; provide accurate and appropriate information to callers. : p >

Place outbound customer service or customer satisfaction calls, as required by client. : p >

Correctly complete call guides; gather and verify all required information. : p >

Attend telephone skills and program information training sessions; demonstrate mastery of subject matter within specified timeframes. : p >

Upon completion of 30 days’ employment, provide minimum level of telephone customer service to every caller, meeting all documented telephone standards. : p >

Upon completion of 90 days’ employment, demonstrate mastery of documented advanced telephone customer service skills. : p >

Closely adhere to contact center scheduling, ensuring adequate telephone coverage during contact center hours of operation. : p >

Exhibit professional and positive behavior towards the project and co-workers. : p >

Perform clerical or administrative duties as assigned: p >

: p > Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma

  • 1 years of customer service or other telephone experience

  • Experience working with fax machines, computer software, and telephone technology

Other Qualifications

  • Basic communication skills

  • 1 or more years of customer service or other telephone experience strongly preferred

  • Ability to follow oral and written directions

  • Ability to meet professional standards towards project and co-worker

  • Must be flexible to work various full-time shifts. Schedules can vary between the hours of 6: 00am to 8: 00pm.

  • Must pass skills testing including spelling and data entry

  • Must be able to fully attend training class and pass training practicum at the end of the training course

  • Previous call center CSR experience highly preferred
