Program Support Specialist/Administrative Assistant - CFO Leasing, Inc. - Piggott, AR






Department: USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service


Location (1 POSITION IN EACH OF THE FOLLOWING CITIES): Helena, Piggott, Pocahontas, Hazen, Dewitt, Lake Village, Mena, Arkadelphia, Marshall, and McGehee


Expectations:


  • Provide office and clerical support to the agency personnel such as District Conservationists, Soil Conservationists, & Program Technicians

  • Assist with Farm Bill Program applications

Responsibilities:


  • Assist staff members with program documentation, including preparing and processing documents and correspondence, checking documents for accuracy and completeness, gathering information, reconciling payment documents, recording data, establishing and maintaining files, and transmitting information

  • Utilize a variety of software applications to include agency specific software including ProTracts, Toolkit, Performance Results System, SharePoint, and excel based programs such as ROOT Review

  • Provide a variety of information to program applicants and participants, such as specific and eligibility requirements and guidance on completion of required program applications

  • Accepts and manages Farm Bill program applications and enters application information in ProTracts

  • Review Farm Bill program applications for accuracy and completeness

  • Data entry in regards to processing contract documents, terminations, and modifications

  • Generate and maintain ProTracts Reports, Contract Reviews, Practice Reminder Letters, Preapproval Letters, Etc.

  • Greet customers and answer phones

  • May have to travel to adjacent field offices in order to carry out assigned duties

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma

  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, & Outlook

  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
