As a Business Assistant you will perform a variety of secretarial duties for a manager, requiring knowledge of department policies and procedures. Essential job duties include:
With minimal supervision, enter all disability leaves, ensuring high level of accuracy and within required timelines.
Track, log, and file all drug certifications and D&A documentation.
Administer spot recognition and Visa reward program.
Administer manual benefits.
Under minimal supervision, perform a variety of administrative duties, requiring knowledge of department policies and procedures.
With advanced knowledge of filing systems, create, maintain and update department files, records and publications.
Receive and screen telephone calls and visitors, assist with incoming inquiries, and resolve problems using knowledge of department policies and procedures.
Generate requests for payment and code and enter data.
Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
Advanced computer skills.
Superior data entry skills, with high level of accuracy.
Access Database skills preferred.
SAP experience preferred.
Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Ability to work in a high pressure setting with multiple deadline and projects.
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Demonstrate a degree of creativity and latitude.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate office professionalism is required.
Minimum 6 years administrative experience or equivalent combination of training and experience are necessary.
