In search of food receiver/cleaner/dietary aide in a 115 bed Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. Prior experience working in long term care is a plus.
Guaranteed 10 -16 hours bi-weekly w/ potential for more
if interested have additional work as a dietary aide on weekends as well – two week training program
Must be available to work weekdays & weekends
Job responsibilities:
Receives food purchases from vendors on Tuesday. Puts all food away properly with First in First out motto. Labels and checks all food. Cut and recycle all boxes, sweep and mop refrigerators and dry storage, clean racks/shelves, ovens, steamers, walls, borders etc.
Ensures every resident has an extraordinary dining experience by attending to their expressed and unexpressed needs. Treats guest with a combination of friendliness, respect, and professionalism that tells them we are a community dedicated to service. Preparing and serving food in an appetizing and attractive manner while adhering to federal and state regulations and the residence policies and procedures. Owns responsibility to maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining area. Works as a team and ensures open communication with all staff.
