Order Pullers - World and Main - Houston, TX

This position will report directly to the Conveyable Supervisor in Houston, Texas. The Order Pullers, Conveyable

employees are responsible for pulling the correct quantity and the correct merchandise for customer’s daily orders in


the correct sequence for orders to be on time. They are also responsible for restock, receiving and returns put away,


ensuring that merchandise is placed in the correct location, performing cycle counts correctly, keeping their areas in a


neat and clean manner and communicating damaged merchandise or any issues in their areas to their immediate


supervisors. Order Pullers are responsible for maintaining a preset Production Rate each day.


Candidate Requirements

High School Diploma or GED plus one year of related experience preferred or equivalent in work experience. Must have


good written and verbal communication skills.


Candidates must have some experience in pulling orders, cycle count and restocking.


Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.


Must be able to lift 50 or more pounds, able to push, pull, reach, bend, stand, and walk, for extended periods of time.


Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment. Must be able to work in a noisy and dusty environment.


The candidate should have a strong commitment to participating in a team environment and should be motivated by the


opportunity to add value to a low-cost, no frills distribution environment. Additionally, this individual should possess


well developed interpersonal and communication skills that will facilitate effective working relationships with all levels


of employees and management.
