Microsoft is on a mission to revamp its Digital Store to be a one stop shop for all the company has to offer for its platforms. We’re taking a huge step forward in opening new opportunities for our end users and developers alike and are looking for a passionate, self-driven and technically strong PM to help make this reality.
You will be responsible for shaping the Developer and End User experiences around the Store ecosystem by owning key pieces of the App onboarding and Certification services. This system is essential for detecting abuse and enforcing Store policies around security, content and variety of other technical standards. It is key to maintaining and enhancing the overall perceived quality and trustworthiness of Store in the eyes of the end Users. You will work closely with partner teams in Windows Developer Platform, Developer Division, other Abuse detection teams and rest of Store to deliver on the upcoming release and the ongoing system enhancements.
Required qualifications include:
- 5+ years of program management experience in a product team defining and shipping software/services
- Excellent core program management skills
- Experience collaborating and negotiating with other teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated track record of helping others and being a great team player
- Preferred: Experience with scalable services
