Senior Content Engineer
Do you love building simple and intuitive user experiences, demos and samples to help developers understand how to build applications? Ever wanted to evangelize the latest Microsoft devices and services technologies to Microsoft Developers? Developers are building amazing applications with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Windows and we are looking for a Senior Content Engineer with strong developer skills to join the Technical Evangelism and Development (TED) team within the DX organization with the objective to build and support the content development process to enable developers worldwide to quickly grasp our client and services technologies.
The candidate would need to demonstrate development experience specifically with the Microsoft Azure and Windows and understand the kinds of content that we would need to build to help support the developer community and the DX field organization. The role would involve working with other teams in TED to build and consolidate developer content and scale their content development activities through external vendors.
In this role, you would be responsible for:
Provide technical content coordination across TED to build developer materials which would accelerate a developers adoption of Microsoft technologies
Develop packaged developer content to the DX field and the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN.com) portal
Manage relationships with external content vendors to scale content development efforts
Present at large technical events on key developer subjects
The ideal candidate will have:
Demonstrated developer capabilities across the Microsoft Azure and Windows platforms.
Great communication and presentation skills
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development
Strong knowledge of application development
BS/BA degree, Masters in Computer Science preferred
