Responsibilities:
WORK ACTIVITIES/CONTEXT:
Demonstrates the highest level of ethics and integrity in all supplier transactions.
Administers procure-to-pay systems and data files and/or oversees assigned procure-to-pay transactional areas; Inclusive of managing supplier catalog content, spot buying, purchase order completion, invoice resolution, and contracts administration.
Participates in sourcing events as a member of the Enablement Team; provides input in defining procure-to-pay processes.
Understands and applies established Purchasing processes and procedures.
Identifies opportunities for improvement; assists in developing and implementing Purchasing operational processes and procedures; maintains related documents and records.
Resolves Customer Service issues by providing training and information to Employees and suppliers; explains system logic, processes, and procedures.
Supports system enhancements through participation in user acceptance testing; may include test scripts and/or conducting and documenting application testing.
Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
EDUCATION:
Either a bachelor’s degree or equivalent procurement related work experience required.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum one year work experience required without a bachelor’s degree.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Must be able to lift standered office supplies; able to bend, stoop, climb, kneel, stand, sit and walk for extended periods.
SKILLS/ABILITIES/KNOWLEDGE/WORK STYLE:
Demonstrates dedicated, proactive Customer Service to all internal and external Customers.
Build strong working relationships with peers and Leaders; works effectively as part of a Team.
Good written and verbal communication skills; assertively communicates in a meeting environment and one-on-one with Customers; able to create and edit administration manuals, process and procedural documents, business letters, and email communications.
Time management and organizational skills with ability to manage detailed, concurrent tasks; ability to successfully meet deadlines and perform under pressure.
Good working knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology and savings initiatives.
Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; intermediate or advanced Excel and Access skills preferred; foundational working knowledge of SWA spend management applications.
Basic ability to problem solve by analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations.
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work flexible hours and meet deadlines successfully, at times with frequent interruptions.
Travel may be required.
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
