The County of San Diego is currently accepting applications for the position of Audit-Appraiser I .
We are looking for top-notch certified Audit-Appraisers or equivalent that have strong leadership, solid skills and knowledge in auditing business accounting records to determine proper values of assessable personal property and business fixtures for tax purposes. Potential candidates must be able to apply accounting and audit procedures and the California Revenue and Taxation Code in the discovery, records audit, and assessment of business and personal property.

Minimum Requirements:
Notes: Certification as a Public Accountant (CPA) by the California State Board of Accountancy is highly desirable and may be accepted as meeting the education requirement.

Working Conditions
This position requires a valid California Class C driver’s license, which must be maintained throughout employment in this position. As an Audit-Appraiser I, you are required to travel extensively in county, and may be required to travel out of county and out of state. A personal vehicle and current insurance must be maintained throughout employment in this position.
