A new vacancy for a DC HR Manager has arisen at our Hemel Hempstead branch. The successful candidate will carry out the following duties:


  • Ensure the correct implementation of the Branch’s people management processes: e.g. Absence management, discipline, grievance, redundancy, recruitment and training

  • Oversee the compilation of HR Key Performance Indicator information and recommend remedial action where needed

  • Ensure personnel and training records are securely and properly maintained

  • Keep abreast of legal requirements and provide line management with a range of solutions to HR issues

  • Seek opportunities to continuously improve HR-related disciplines such as employee relations, motivation/engagement, attendance and communication.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:


  • Excellent personal organisation and communication skills: both verbal and written

  • Confidence in leading change within the business

  • A full CIPD qualification in HR Management

  • Good PC Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and preferably Access

  • Demonstrated experience of handling complex people management issues with sensitivity and dignity
