Job Description
Our Internationally renowned client based in Watford is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their team on a 9 month fixed term contract with immediate effect. There will also be a possibility that the role may go permanent after this time, for the right candidate.
The day to day responsibilities include –
• Accurately allocate customer receipts by cheque and BACS on a daily basis.
• Allocate receipts to specific invoices and credit notes.
• Send out customer invoices and credit notes and produce statements.
• Record debit notes daily, raising credit requests for debit notes and produce end of month reports.
• Produce supplier invoices promptly including coding and checking VAT.
• Action other accounts payable, credit control and general admin work as and when required.
• Log price debit notes and pass to supply chain for checking/authorisation.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes -
• Good working knowledge of MS Word/Excel
• Strong communication skills
• Educated to A-level (or equivalent) standard
• Ability to learn and develop skills
