The Role
We are currently seeking an organized individual to operate and maintain our corporate mailroom. This position will be contract to hire.
Responsibilities
Involves sorting materials in mail slots by department or office to be picked up or delivered by designated personnel. Stamping USPS mail by weight and location using a postage machine. Creating Fed Ex labels for outgoing envelopes and packages. Keeping stock of all items necessary to send an envelope or package via USPS, UPS or Fed-Ex. Create certified, express and insured mail receipts. Manage lost and found items left throughout the facility. Available to work on administrative activities.
Requirements
Must be able to move packages of varying sizes (up to 50lbs). Excellent organization and communication skills. Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Internet Explorer). Show attention to detail.
