Skillnet Limited, a leading training provider for apprenticeships, is looking to recruit a number of Recruitment Consultants to join this growing company.


We are looking for energetic, ambitious and hard working individuals who have a passion for recruitment and sales.


To be successful in the role you will need to be able to:


  • Meet start targets through identification and creation of apprenticeship vacancies and to qualify existing applicants to ensure their eligibility for an apprenticeship.

  • Make outbound calls using data provided with the aim of generating employer vacancies, as well as pre qualifying current applicants to confirm eligibility for an Apprenticeship.

  • Use thorough product knowledge to inform employers of the benefits of apprenticeships and apprentice recruitment to their business.

  • Maintain candidate & Employer database – CRM and AMS – to ensure up to date information is available to the recruitment team and business.

  • Use various assessment tools to help young people identify their interests, skills, aptitudes and capabilities.

  • Use a thorough telephone screening process for both learners and employers, to assess suitability for live vacancies as well as eligibility for apprenticeship.

  • Agree recruitment criteria with employer to ensure most appropriate candidates are put forward for interview.

  • Ensure that candidates and employers have full knowledge of the process, expectation and potential outcomes and are fully equipped with relevant information.

  • Respond to inbound queries in a timely manner, referring to necessary staff where relevant.

  • Conduct marketing campaigns to generate sector / industry specific leads in line with business needs.

  • Adopt a tenacious but professional approach, acting as an ambassador of Skillnet.

  • Promote equality and diversity at all times

  • Complete regular reporting activities to measure self and team against agreed targets.

  • Work as part of the team to make a positive contribution to business improvement.

  • Deal with customer complaints in line with the company complaints procedure.

  • Liaise with relevant internal departments to provide solutions to client needs.

  • Maintain good working relationships with other colleagues and the directors

  • Maintain safe working practices and ensuring proper use of equipment

  • To carry out any other duties and responsibilities within his/her capabilities as reasonably directed by their manager

You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build a natural rapport with young people. You will also have a confident and articulate telephone manner and have good attend to detail.
