Pertemps Ltd urgently require Class 1 HGV drivers to work from our base in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire.
We are offering an hourly rate of £11.50 – £16.50 per hour Shift patterns as follows:
AM DUTIES (Start times between 0400 – 0700): Sun – Thursday or Tuesday – Saturday
AM DUTIES (Start times between 0000 – 0230): Friday to Monday
PM DUTIES (Start times between 1400 – 1700): Monday – Friday
PAYE drivers also welcome.
As a Class 1 HGV Driver your duties will include:
• Carrying out Class 1 HGV store deliveries and trunking work to a major supermarket chain
• Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to stores and collections from suppliers
• Drive safely and with courtesy when out on the road.
• Trunking products to depots throughout the UK
• Responsible for vehicle checks before leaving the depot.
• Other duties may include shunting yard duties and loading in the warehouse
The ideal Class 1 HGV Driver will have the following skills and experiences:
• Valid HGV Class 1 licence.
• No more than 6 points / DD or DR for insurance purposes.
• 12 months or more experience of driving Class 1 HGV vehicles – due to insurance purposes.
• HGV Class 1 Digi card tacho experience.
• Reliable and flexible.
