Senior Account Manager - Direct Mail (26882859)



We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join our busy and growing Client Services team. You will be an integral member of staff within the company and for your clients through the relationships you build and importantly develop as you guide them to success.


First Move Direct Marketing is a forward thinking mailing house that continually looks to grow and offer more to our clients. We were the only mailing house to win an award at the 2014 DMA awards.


Job Purpose/Overall Responsibility


To lead, develop and manage your clients to achieve:


* Sales Growth


* Business targets in line with strategic and operational objectives


* Manage production and completion of individual jobs


By providing outstanding client care and services to retain client loyalty and turn clients into advocates.


Principal Accountabilities


* Plan, undertake and maintain close and regular liaison with clients so as to have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of clients needs.


* Plan, manage and monitor delivery of services to clients in accordance with agreed business terms and within the parameters of cost effective and optimum use of resources, to achieve outstanding client service.


* Complete quality control procedures, including documentation of job planning, to meet client requirements, to ensure clear understanding to achieve faultless delivery of services.


* Liaise with other internal services departments to ensure cost effective co-ordination and quality delivery of services to clients.


To provide outstanding client care and services requires the involvement and commitment of everyone in the organisation. You will be a client care champion of the organisation, involving everyone in the client care process and coordinating the activities of different departments to ensure service quality.


Excellent inter-personal, communication, planning and organisational skills, and the ability to motivate are essential. As a senior member of the team you will be expected to lead and assist your colleagues.


Candidate Requirements


* Strong knowledge and experience of direct marketing is essential in a client management role.


* Awareness/knowledge of the mailing industry.


* The ability to interpret complex direct mail campaign briefs and plans.


* To be proactive and driven.


* Strong attention to detail.


* Ability to work under pressure.


* Excellent organisational skills.


* Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients at all levels.
