Part time General Administrator (5 hours a day 5 days a week) – Chesham – £9.00-£10.00 PH
We are currently recruiting for a lrage organisation based near Chesham for a General Administrator, supporting Purchasing, Sales and Customer service:-
TYPICAL ACTIVITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Entering and maintaining data on the system to produce works order and bill of materials.
- Obtaining quotes from suppliers, raising, amending and progressing purchase orders
- Answering incoming calls with a standard Company greeting
- Updating workshop job sheets
- Customer service and sales support as required
- Book in Fire Tests and Drawings to the system
- Scanning and saving documents to relevant files
- General administration including updating/maintaining company mailing lists/contact lists, arranging couriers, sending Vendor Appraisal Questionnaires, recording fire tests
- WORK CONDITIONS
- Ensure the maintenance of safety and cleanliness standards in accordance with current legislation including the factory acts & health and safety at work act. Especially with regard to company supplied equipment such as computer terminals/printers etc.
- GENERAL
- To undertake, as directed, any other duties as maybe commensurate with the overall efficient running of the company.
- Complete understanding & competency in all machine operation related duties.
- COMPETENCIES
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
- Good communicator with an excellent telephone manner
- Good team worker, reliable and adaptable
