Broadcom’s Broadband Digital Video Technology (DVT) group is responsible for the development and integration set-top boxes, gateway products, and other devices. Broadcom is a leader in these fields. We are looking for a mixed signal verification expert to lead the mixed signal verification of the next generation of products.
You will architect and implement the analog/mixed signal features of the chip’s testbench. The implementation should handle a variety of IP and modeling techniques. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and be a part of the verification and testbench development cycle of leading-edge products. We are looking someone with a background in analog/mixed-signal simulation, verification, and test bench design. Our team takes a very software-centric approach to verification automation. In addition to infrastructure development work, you will work as a member of our chip-level IC design verification team, setting up and maintaining the SOC verification infrastructures.
Responsibilities:
– Understand the IP to ensure models meet requirements for accuracy and integration
– Lead the analog/mixed-signal bench implementation and verification
– Evaluate and adopt the latest EDA tools
Requirements:
• BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering and 12 years of experience in chip level verification
• Expertise in analog/mixed signal testing and debug
• Strong communication skills and desire to work and thrive in a collaborative environment
- Experience with analog circuit behavior modeling (AMS/WREAL/Verilog).
- Circuit schematic/sim tools, circuit extraction, ESD analysis, AMS model development
- Working knowledge of RF/Analog blocks such as PLLs, analog to digital convertes (ADCs/DACs), LNAs, mixes, serial interfaces, and power management circuits such as regulators, DC/DC/ convertes, and low dropout regulators (LDOs).
- Experience in chip-level testbench creation and debug of integration issues
• Understanding of Verilog and System Verilog
• Experience with Unix, Perl, C, TCL and/or Python in an IC design environment
• Knowledge of continuous integration platforms (Jenkins/EC) a plus
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task
