REQUIREMENTS : This is a part-time position approximately 20 hours per week. Two (2) year Associate Degree and at least two (2) years computer database experience in a business environment or a combination of education and experience that provides the essential knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and the Windows operating system. Must possess and maintain a valid State of Florida Driver’s license, or possess a valid out-of-state driver’s license with the ability to obtain the Florida Driver’s license within 10 days of employment. Must pass federal FAA security clearance. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of or ability to learn rules, regulations, policies, and procedures governing security and safety at the Melbourne International Airport as states in the Airport security Manual; knowledge of or ability to learn the geographical layout, organization, and operation of the security program and security system at the Melbourne International Airport; ability to learn TSA, FAA and FDLE rules and regulations routinely utilized in the operation, maintenance and development of an Airport as it relates to airport security; knowledge of current office procedures and practices in organizing work to meet goals and objectives; knowledge of business grammar and mathematics commensurate with the requirements of the work; ability to plan and execute all phases of various projects with minimal supervision; and skill in written and oral communications.
