Our client, a successful and rapidly expanding newspaper publishing company, has an exciting opportunity for a Training Officer based at their offices in High Wycombe. This is a 6 month contract and the role will focus on working with the centralised recruitment multi-media sales teams to deliver induction, product, systems & sales training to all new team members.
Duties of the role will include:
- Coaching and mentoring individuals on a one to one basis.
- Ensuring effective delivery of training and development solutions through planned and structured communication.
- Collate feedback and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the training.
- Induct all new team members to required standards.
- Keep abreast of training and development best practice.
- Manage relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring standards are achieved.
- Project planning.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Strong Telesales / Sales and customer service background.
- Exceptional communication skills (oral and written).
- A proven track record of reaching targets and delivering training programmes.
- Facilitating groups of learners and steering events so that objectives are achieved despite range of different start points.
- Experience of designing, delivering and evaluating effective training solutions.
- Coaching skills.
- Intermediate or advanced level knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
- First-class presentation skills.
