WIT Program- “Whatever It Takes”
A YOUTH AND FAMILY SUPPORT STAFF is responsible for providing in-home direct services support to youth and their families. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: Identifying youth and family strengths and needs that will enhance the child and family team process; Teaching a variety of skills including living, social, self-care, and household management; Acting as consultant to the Child and Family Team; and Identifying, connecting, integrating families into a variety of community resources.
This is a full time position, 30 to 40 hours a week. Must be flexible, able and willing to work varying shifts as assigned. Shifts may include days, evenings, nights, and/or weekends and may change frequently. The starting pay for this position is typically $13.00 per hour and would be based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the selected candidate. A bilingual premium is available for fluency in Spanish.

Provides continual in-home direct services for at-risk youth and families.
Identifies youth and family strengths and needs to enhance the Child and Family Team (CFT) planning process
Teaches a variety of skills (living, social, self-care, household management, etc.) to children, adolescents, parents, and care-givers.
Participates in the CFT by providing feedback regarding direct services delivery.
Identifies, connects, and integrates families in to a variety of community resources and outlets that build off individual and family strengths.
Transports youth(s) to and from various appointments and activities as needed.
Works collaboratively with all Touchstone Behavioral Health departments and employees, CFT members, and youth and families being served.
Enters notes daily before in Credible (electronic medical records system) before ending shift.
Communicates to Supervisor all updates, progress, or barriers being encountered during daily practice.
Regularly transports WIT consumers in personal vehicle.
Works a variety of shifts and schedules as assigned.
*Performs all other duties as assigned
Must have a high school diploma or equivalence, be at least 21 yrs of age, possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable personal transportation. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred. Must qualify for the AZ Fingerprint Clearance card.
