DOL Services Specialist job - Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) - Dublin, GA



Duties & Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, conducts interviews with job, program or unemployment insurance applicants to obtain all necessary information to provide employment assistance, assessment, referral, training assistance or process unemployment insurance claims in a career center or service delivery area. Develops and maintains cooperative relationships with employers. Provides employers with labor market information and recruitment services.

Entry Qualifications:

To be considered minimally qualified, applicants must meet the following:


High School Diploma or GED AND three years of related experience.


OR


Associates Degree.


Preferred Qualifications:


Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to the minimum qualifications, possess one or more of the following: Proficiency working with Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel. Professional experience facilitating large group presentations. Prefer someone with unemployment claims knowledge and employment services.
