Location: North Slope, AK
Description:
Person will be responsible for monitoring fire zones in a production facility on the north slope while the fire alarm system is impaired.
Camp living conditions on a rotation schedule.
Responsibilitities:
Have the only duty of patrolling the impaired area;
Have fire-extinguishing equipment readily available and be trained in its use;
Be familiar with the procedures for reporting fire;
Try to extinguish fire only in its incipient stage;
Notify the board operator and activate the fire alarm when necessary.
Requirements:
Must have a valid drivers license, and will need to meet the company and company’s insurers driving policy requirements.
Prior work experience on north slope is preferred. NSTC training preferred.
